I can't believe it. Tomorrow is Christmas Eve!! How fast has 2010 gone by?!?! I have been SO slack with posting on my blog over the last couple of months. I was on a roll there for a while and have really been terrible lately. Well that is going to change. I am going to get back into it. Blogging is such a good record of what has been going on - something I can look back on in the future. With that said, things in our house have been fairly quiet over the last little while. Here is what we have been up to...
We decorated our tree...
We had a pre-Christmas family get-together...
Mia painted another masterpiece that will soon be displayed in her toy room...
We have had a blast going swimming at the local waterpark (when it hasn't been raining)...
Mia has been enjoying her new swing set that Santa brought for her (I know, it is a few days early but she doesn't understand Christmas and we couldn't very well hide it from her!!)...
Mia and daddy have shared some quality time...
We got 2 more photos back from Mia's photo shoot a couple of months ago...
and finally, Kailin came around for a playdate!!
I have been keeping busy doing lots of knitting. I am even knitting my very first teddy bear right now. Stay tuned for pics of the finished product! I have also finally finished Mia's 7 month scrapbooking photos. Here are a couple of my latest pages...
Now onto the 8 month ones!!! AHHHHH!!!!
All in all it has been a busy yet relaxing month of December. I hope that all of you have a lovely Christmas. I won't be posting again until after Christmas!! Take care and stay safe! xxx

Knitting Up A Storm
I will admit...I am a bit knitting obsessed right now. I have been going crazy with gifts and stuff for Mia. There is nothing better than chillin' out in front of the television after Mia is in bed and knitting until my heart is content. Here are a few of my latest knitting projects...
David is now officially on holidays which is great!! We have big plans to get lots of stuff done over the next 6 weeks. We still have blinds to put up in 2 of the bedrooms and in the spare bathroom. Then there is the edging to be done around the bamboo floors and then of course there is still some unpacking that needs to happen. I also want to try and get some scrapbooking done as well and of course my knitting. I am in the middle of a couple of projects right now so stay tuned!!
My goal over the Christmas holidays is to FINALLY learn how to crochet. I have been shown a few times but I just can't get the hang of it!!! I don't know why but my brain just can't get a hold on what I am meant to do! I am sure if I put my mind to it I will get there...eventually!
Mia is doing great. She sure isn't my baby anymore. She is blossoming into a beautiful little girl. She is such a joy to be around. I love being able to stay at home with her and watch her change and grow day to day. She is learning so much right now. She knows all her shapes and can do her shapes puzzle all by herself. She is talking all the time and mimicking all the time. I just love hearing her talk!! Here is my beautiful LITTLE GIRL!!
Talk to you all soon!!!
**A hat I knit for Mia**
A sweater I am currently finishing. You can see the back panel and 1 of the front panels. I have now finished the 2nd front panel and almost 1 of the long sleeves. The sweater also has a collar which I have to do and it joins at the front by 1 central button that I have to add.
A hat I knit as a present for a friend who just had a baby girl
