Knitting Up A Storm

I will admit...I am a bit knitting obsessed right now. I have been going crazy with gifts and stuff for Mia. There is nothing better than chillin' out in front of the television after Mia is in bed and knitting until my heart is content. Here are a few of my latest knitting projects...

**A hat I knit for Mia**

A sweater I am currently finishing. You can see the back panel and 1 of the front panels. I have now finished the 2nd front panel and almost 1 of the long sleeves. The sweater also has a collar which I have to do and it joins at the front by 1 central button that I have to add.

David is now officially on holidays which is great!! We have big plans to get lots of stuff done over the next 6 weeks. We still have blinds to put up in 2 of the bedrooms and in the spare bathroom. Then there is the edging to be done around the bamboo floors and then of course there is still some unpacking that needs to happen. I also want to try and get some scrapbooking done as well and of course my knitting. I am in the middle of a couple of projects right now so stay tuned!!

My goal over the Christmas holidays is to FINALLY learn how to crochet. I have been shown a few times but I just can't get the hang of it!!! I don't know why but my brain just can't get a hold on what I am meant to do! I am sure if I put my mind to it I will get there...eventually!

Mia is doing great. She sure isn't my baby anymore. She is blossoming into a beautiful little girl. She is such a joy to be around. I love being able to stay at home with her and watch her change and grow day to day. She is learning so much right now. She knows all her shapes and can do her shapes puzzle all by herself. She is talking all the time and mimicking all the time. I just love hearing her talk!! Here is my beautiful LITTLE GIRL!!

Talk to you all soon!!!
